Simest, reopening of the call for proposals starting from 28 October 2021
Companies will be able to submit new applications for Simest loans starting from 28 October 2021.
As reported in Official Gazette for the administration of the Fund 295/73 and the Fund 394/81, published in the Official Gazette no.188 of 7 August.
The partial component of the non-repayable call has been confirmed, with the exception of the line dedicated to capitalization.
The additional resources allocated with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Mission 1, Component 2, Investment 5, Sub-measure “Refinancing and redefinition of the Fund 394/81 managed by SIMEST”, amount to 1.2 billion EUR.
Increase of the endowment following the Sostegni e Sostegni Bis Decree
During the current year 2021, the 394 Fund dedicated to subsidized loans was increased by 1.2 billion euros, while the Fund pursuant to art. 72 DL 18/2020, which finances the non-repayable fund, increased by 550 million euros. The percentage of the non-repayable grant amounts to 25% for each single project, but is excluded for the capitalization line.
New Simest non-repayable and subsidized loan lines
The new specifications by Simest provide for 3 new types of intervention admitted to projects for 2021:
- Digital and ecological transition of SMEs with an international vocation
- Participation of SMEs in international fairs and exhibitions, also in Italy
- Development of electronic commerce of SMEs in foreign countries (e-commerce) and insertion in marketplaces
